Overview

The Security Account Administration Representative is responsible and accountable for maintaining confidential customer information, creating, and maintaining end user accounts, as well as providing exceptional customer service. This includes contact with internal and external customers, and various authorities such as police, fire, and commercial loss prevention departments. 

 

This role is Wednesday- Saturday 9:30-8:30pm CST. 

Responsibilities

Each Coordinator is assigned a primary category within the team of either Account Creation/Cancellation, Account Maintenance, Permits, or Audits. While a coordinator may work withing several of these categories during their shfits, their primary category will be the majority of their work.

  • Mail – getting the daily mail to sort through and scan in to make a service request.
  • Alarm Permits – handling initial permit applications for new customers, handling the yearly renewals, researching and processing false alarm fees, and making sure anything we pay gets documented and sent to billing for invoicing the customer.
  • Maintenance – looking over service requests that come in from the customer and updating the systems for call lists, alarm users, open/close schedules, logins to customer facing portals, video requests, etc.  You will need to learn multiple platforms to complete requests such as Manitou, AlarmNet, Security Manager, Virtual Keypad, Compass, Oracle, IVMS, VCM, CSHD Lite and more as required based on your assigned duties.
  • Account Creation – setting up accounts in Manitou based on information provided by other departments based on services sold.  You will need an understanding of Playbooks, transmitters, DVR systems, etc.  You will work with the Installations department to test sites and approve for monitoring by the iSOC.
  • Account Cancellation – you will need an understanding of how to shut off services in AlarmNet, DMP, Alarm.com, Manitou, etc.
  • Video Requests – this is a service we provide our customers is remotely saving video from their DVR and emailing it to Loss Prevention or Police upon authorized request or sending by mail/FedEx.  Programs needed for this are CSHD Lite, IVMS 4200, Hightail or DropBox.
  • Audit Services – you will be looking through live or retrieved video to answer questions on a predetermined form and provide images.  Questions range from cash handling to OSHA compliance and anything in between.  Programs used for this are Manitou and Audit Manager.
  • Phones – all coordinators will be answering incoming calls for maintenance items.
  • Other tasks and duties assigned by Management.

Qualifications

  • High-School diploma  
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, and Outlook.  
  • Proficient in Manitou Automation Software CRM/CSHD experience preferred.  
  • Familiarity with Police/Fire ordinance compliance preferred.  
  • Data entry experience/ Security Industry Experience preferred. 
  • Must be dependable, analytical, accurate, and detail orientated  
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills  
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
