The Service Manager will be responsible for both Service and Fire Inspection, including the planning, assignment, and coordination of people and materials necessary for the complete service and inspection of all jobs within the region. Responsible for planning, implementing, and managing the activities of the Service work force. Responsible for planning, implementing, and managing the activities of the Fire Inspection work force.

• Partner with service coordinator to oversee and ensure effective scheduling.
• Partner with inspections coordinator to oversee and ensure effective scheduling.
• Partner with the Inventory manager to ensure techs and inspectors have appropriate parts to complete jobs.
• Partner with the Sr. Manager, West Region Operations to ensure:
• Service goals, standards, and expectations are met.
• Fire inspection goals, standards, and expectations are met.
• Ensure service quality standards are met to maximize customer retention.
• Focus on minimization of mean time to repair for the service backlog.
• Maintain service delivery expectations for premier customers and escalated jobs (i.e., 24hr & 48hr response times)
• Ensure fire inspection quality standards are met to maximize customer retention.
• Focus on accurate fire inspection, testing, and reporting shall follow company procedures and guidelines.
• Manage expeditious service and repair of all reported fire system deficiencies through completion.
• Maintain fire inspection delivery expectations. Ensure that fire inspection commitments are met (quarterly, bi-annual, & annual).
• Emphasis on Relentless Customer Support and Outstanding Service.
• Set realistic schedule for self and subordinates to ensure maximum utilization of resources and timely completion of tasks.
• Develops and maintains an effective service & fire inspection work force through recruiting, hiring, training, motivating and coaching techniques.
• Conduct meetings. Communicate current company policies and procedures, techniques, demonstration of equipment, new products, and services.
• Conduct regular safety meetings to ensure safety awareness in all tasks performed by service and fire inspection personnel.
• Assist Sr. Manager with technical training implementation and certification programs

• High School Diploma required; college degree preferred.
• NICET Certification Level 1 and 2 preferred.
• 3 to 5 years related industry experience (Security Systems or Fire Life Safety Systems) with an emphasis on field operations.
• Minimum 3-5 years technical install or service experience.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience
• Knowledge of Burglar Alarms, Fire Alarms, Access Control, CCTV, Managed Networks, and Low Voltage is required.
• Background should include the ability to successfully handle multiple challenges, prioritize responsibilities, and effectively lead a team.
• Knowledge of Project Management is a plus

This role ranges from $85,000 to $105,000.
